* Everyone has negative thoughts, even professional athletes.
* Thoughts are neutral, not instruction or who we are.
* If we believe them or try to fix them they stay around longer.
* If we don’t give these thoughts time and attention, they will settle naturally.
* This way we will free up headspace and see our next best move clearly.

A snapshot of what it looks like in the process of transforming as a Sarah Jane Mindset Coaching athlete…
kameron's plan to "Up the Odds" for his success as his team gets ready to start their competitive 10U baseball season:
- “I won’t let my mistakes affect my attitude for the practices or the games.”
- “When I make a mistake, I will speak up and ask my teammate or my coaches what I can do to overcome the mistake.”
- “When I make a bad play I will think about what I can do differently next time for better success… It’s not the end of the world and I’ve most likely done more good than bad… so I can’t let the bad effect all the good.”

Kameron clearly understands where his feelings are coming from during competition. He sees that he is creating his own experience and is accountable for his choices.
Do you think Kameron will be playing in the zone more often this season? I do!
